The interview was recorded a couple of weeks ago, after the second date of the tour (there have been three more since!) and apart from the tour itself, touched on Lee's guest spot (as himself) on BBC comedy Motherland last year (all episodes now streaming on iPlayer). Asked whether he'd like to do more TV work, Lee spoke of playing Paul the zumba-teaching vicar in Fat Friends - the Musical which tours the UK from January to July 2022 (although he has since revealed that he will now be playing the male lead, Kevin Murgatroyd) and how excited he was to be working the show's writer, Kay Mellor, hoping that relationship might bear TV fruit at some point in the future.
