This year's panto season finds Lee in Milton Keynes with a return to Aladdin, which he last played in Birmingham in 2015. For many, though not of course for all, this is a much easier prospect travel-wise than last year's far-flung but fabulous Snow White in Aberdeen!The show opens on Saturday 7 December, running to Sunday 12 January 2020 with press night on Wednesday 11 December.
Lee shares 'top of the bill' with one of his comedy heroes Joe Pasquale (as Wishee Washee), with David Robbins (Widow Twankey), Debra Michaels (The Empress), Tegan Bannister (Princess Jasmine) and Phil Corbitt (Abanazer). I wonder if teenage Lee ever dared to dream he'd one day be starring alongside Joe when he operated the follow-spot for him during a period of work experience at Southend's Cliffs Pavilion all those years ago!
