SERIES 29, EPISODE 41 - THE NEXT STEPLofty's involvement in this week's episode was largely of the 'blink and you'll miss it' variety - provider of sandwiches and assessor of hysterical schoolgirls, the latter largely as a foil for new nurse, Jacob Masters, who can best be described as annoyingly cocky! But I remain comforted by the news, shared by Lee in an interview with Best magazine and in an informal Q&A at one of his recent tour warm-up gigs at The Pheasantry, that Lofty has a big storyline in the pipeline, which starts shooting in September for around 10 weeks. It won't be on air until the new year, but there's light at the end of the tunnel!
Synopsis: Jacob starts his first day at Holby's accident and emergency department, and he immediately has to put his powers of persuasion to use when a lie nearly costs a girl her life.
