There primarily to chat about his fabulous new My Story tour which kicked off last month in Halifax, their lively chat also touched on Lee's work on Holby and how he'd felt about playing Lofty gay, on his dyspraxia, undiagnosed until he was 28, and which he initially feared being open about and much more besides.
With questions from the listeners, lots of laughter and airplay too for Why Can't We Make Things Work from his debut album, it's a cracking listen.
The My Story tour fits in with Lee's ongoing Holby filming commitments, with two or three (sometimes more!) shows a month through to November, and its stripped down format is something of a change for Lee, featuring some of his favourite songs while also seeing him reflect on his life and career in conversation with BBC presenter, singer and good friend Beverley Humphreys.
