Their chat ranged over fairly familiar territory - from that career-changing Any Dream Will Do win, including the most detailed description I've ever heard from Lee of what went through his head in that interminable pause between "the winner is..." and hearing his name, to whether he prefers TV or stage. You can hear more of his anecdotes and some remarkably frank insights into his life and career to date on his tour, along with a range of songs that both illustrate his stories and give full rein to his amazing voice.
There are just seven dates remaining of this fabulous tour in which Lee is joined on stage by the lovely Beverley Humphreys (think Eammon Andrews on 'This Is Your Life'!) and his musical director Adam Dennis on piano - the aforementioned Lichfield date on 21 September as well as Herne Bay (20 Sep), Ilkley (25 Oct), Chatham (27 Oct), Eastbourne (8 Nov), Loughborough (9 Nov) and Chelmsford (10 Nov) - full info and ticket links on the main My Story page.
