The piece was introduced on South East Today with VT from the Any Dream Will Do final in 2007 and touched on some of the things he will talk about in the show - mostly his career of course, but also more personal things that have been inescapably part of his story.
He will be joined on the Hever Festival stage, not only by the lovely Beverley Humphreys (think Eammon Andrews on 'This Is Your Life'!) and his musical director Adam Dennis on piano, but also on this occasion by violinist John Pearce whose supreme skill on the fiddle (that doesn't sound quite right!) will doubtlessly bring an added dimension to an already brilliant show.
And if you can't make it to Hever Castle this month, the tour has three more dates in the region at:
- King's Hall, Herne Bay on Friday 20 September
- Central Theatre, Chatham on Sunday 27 October
- Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne on Friday 8 November.
