There was something very special about Lee's concert at the New Wimbledon Theatre.Firstly, Lee himself was on brilliant form, relaxed and chatty, vocally powerful and clearly loving his life right now. Add to that a hugely enthusiastic audience, which included many groups of friends brought together from far and wide (very far in the case of our lovely American friends!), and the place was set to party!
And party it did ... with Lee's band (original line up) and his special guest, Niamh Perry, adding their talents to the mix, and a now familiar setlist that still manages to be fresh each time I hear it, Lee was charming, funny and sang his heart out.
He talked again of his upcoming concert at the London Coliseum on 19 December - promising some Christmas songs to get us in the festive spirit! And he mentioned his recent venture on to Twitter - you can find him at @leemeadofficial if you're not yet following him!
