A day before Lee brings his wonderful Some Enchanted Evening tour to Kent, he chatted to Dominic King on his BBC Radio Kent Drivetime show (in an interview recorded some time before). First they talked of his recent run in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which was in Canterbury over the summer, and how it feels when a run like that comes to an end. Asked whether there was more theatre work planned, Lee mentioned again the hoped-for West End transfer of Chitty in 2018, the 50th Anniversary of the film, which he would very much like to be involved with. Also a possible return as Lofty and his plans to celebrate 10 years since Any Dream Will Do with a special show next year... but no firm plans yet (that he can talk about anyway!)
They also touched on the subject of celebrity and how much it has changed since the era Lee's album harks back to, 1940's and 50's Hollywood, before moving on to talk in some detail about the album itself and the tour.
