I was late in listening to last week's edition of Beverley Humphrey's regular Sunday evening World of Music programme for BBC Wales - on the day it aired I was in London to see a certain Mr Mead at the Pheasantry, so it was lovely to hear when I did catch up that Beverley is hoping to get to one of the future dates of Lee's wonderful Up Front & Centre residency there in the coming months.

Lovely too to hear her tell of how happy Lee is at Holby and of his added joy that filming at Elstree means he can now see so much more of his beloved daughter, Betsy, than he could when based down in Cardiff for Casualty.

And exciting that he had mentioned to Beverley, as he did to the gathered audience at the Pheasantry, that ten years on from winning Any Dream Will Do he is working on a 10th anniversary album and associated tour for next year.
