Lee's first tour started with just a few dates on his Sundays off from Wicked in the West End, but continued throughout 2010, finishing with a final flurry of dates when his run as Fiyero came to an end in February 2011.The involvement of a number of different promoters led to concerts being variously called 'Lee Mead & his musicians', 'Lee Mead in Concert' 'Step Into Christmas with Lee Mead', 'Christmas with Lee Mead' and finally 'An Evening with Lee Mead' - for convenience, I have grouped them all under the general tour title of 'Lee Mead Live'.
But what did we care what they were called? Finally we had the opportunity to see Lee live as himself... singing, chatting, joking and generally charming his audience. And what an absolute treat it was!
